A 17-year member of Romance Writers of America, Carol has served at the chapter and
national levels, as Orange County Chapter’s co-president, New England Chapter’s
first PAN Liaison, and on RWA’s national board for over five years. She currently
serves as Leadership Development Committee Chairperson, and in 2005 received RWA’s
highest service honor, the Emma Merritt Award.
A graduate of UCLA in Art History, she numbers among her pleasures collecting art,
especially Japanese woodblock prints, American art pottery of the Thirties and Forties,
and Native American pottery from the Santa Clara and San Ildefonso tribes. Unfortunately,
she has more art than shelf- or wall space, so the collection tends to rotate in
and out of display, not altogether unlike a museum (albeit rather more, um, disorderly
than the average museum space). She lives in the Los Angeles area with her one husband
and five cats. Published with Silhouette Special Edition, she is at work on a new
novel.
